Snow versus heat – Embracing the elements
Having office locations on two different continents comes with very different weather conditions and options for social activities.
Our Oslo team kicked off March with a day at SNØ, an indoor snow park just outside the city. Opting for sledding, we laughed our way down the slopes, despite alarming amounts of snow finding its way into our clothes.
Meanwhile, our Pune team embraced the heat at Kunjwan Resort, spending a day engaging in various team building activities and games.
Lønningspils
Honoring the Norwegian ‘lønningspils’ tradition (salary beer), our Oslo team heads off to a new exciting social activity every month. From escape rooms over curling to stand-up comedy, lønningspils always comes with lots of fun, laughter, and an opportunity to get to know our co-workers even better.
In March, we kicked off the evening with a few competitive rounds of Shuffleboard, followed by a lively karaoke session that got everyone singing and dancing. This month’s lønningspils made us unleash our inner nerds with a rousing Bingo night.
Always a reason to celebrate
Time flies when you’re changing the game, such as our Pune office celebrated their fifth anniversary of Simplifai in March. Marked by a delicious cake, we got together and reminisced about the old days and how far we’ve come.
Another great reason to celebrate was International Women’s Day. In Pune, we had a fun time at the office with an engaging game of charades. The celebration was an excellent opportunity for us to appreciate and recognize the valuable contributions of women to society as well as our workplace.
Sharing knowledge
While not solely a social event, our guest lecture at GS Moze College of Engineering deserves a special mention. We had a fantastic time sharing our expertise in RPA and Data Science with the next generation of tech leaders, fostering connections and inspiring innovation.
With such an amazing start to the year, we’re excited to see what the future holds. As spring arrives in Oslo, we’re eager to embrace new adventures and further strengthen our bonds as a team.
