Simplifai India at orphanage

Simplifai India team puts CSR on their agenda

As a company in growth, it’s important to establish and develop our own work culture. Who are we, what do we stand for, and how do we choose to create value, internally and externally? Not only for business and profit, but also for the society, how we can give back and make a difference, and as a bonus, lift the team spirit by giving purpose and deeper meaning by doing something good.

Simplifai team in Pune, India are counting 40 employees, and they have seen the importance of giving back to their nearby community. Here, HR Manager, Sheetal Ingale writes about their recent CSR activity and mission.

– At Simplifai India, we are well-aware of the need to proactively take up good-hearted investment and give social value to our business accomplishments. We know the responsibility of being a good citizen, contributing positively to our society and environment and build sustainable communities over time.

Our first activity of 2020 was to organize a day visit to BVJSS – Bhatkya Vimukta Jati Shikshan Sanstha Orphanage. A home of more than 300 kids in the age group of 5 to 16 years. The children are gathered here from all over Maharashtra, some of them are of single parents and some are orphans. This organization both provides shelter for these rootless children and educates them to ensure a safe future for each one.

Mapping out their needs

On our visit, we were shown the journey of the orphanage house from the last 20 years. We got a chance to spend quality time to understand their requirement on more career-oriented information, daily needs and sports initiative to bring them up to School/ District Level. We played Volleyball, Basketball, Kho-Kho games with them. It was amazing to see their talents!

Donations and supplies

We supplied them with essential items, such as wheat, rice, oil, sprouts, sugar, groundnuts, sanitary napkins, and so on, which were personally presented by our team to the representatives at the orphanage. An amount of donation was also made together. Employees even donated old & neat clothes, first aid medicines, shoes, etc. The visit allowed us an opportunity to have an up-close understanding of the children’s needs. We hope that the time spent together was uplifting, the groceries supplied, and the token given were of assistance in providing some measure of comfort and improvement to the welfare of the children.

The next attempt is to visit this orphanage with

to kids. A big thanks to the Simplifaiers who contributed towards this noble cause in their own possible ways.

A part of our CSR Mission is to use our gain to make a social impact. We will continue to create, grow and sustain opportunities for those in need and underprivileged. Some more activities at different levels and requirements will be done during this year.
